In 2022, applicants were tasked with creating a Swift Playgrounds app project on the topic of your choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Sascha describes his winning submission.
This year my project was called Athletic Robot. The initials of Athletic Robot are a nod to augmented reality. My project is about a virtual coach (aka Tim Coach) that shows you how to do jumping jacks & squats. In addition, Tim Coach challenges you with a short exercise and can detect your squats & jumping jacks and give you a score. Through it I wanted to show that it is important to do a little bit of sport regularly and that physical exercise can be fun and accessible.
