In 2025, applicants were tasked with creating an interactive app playground on the topic of their choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Bruno describes his winning submission.
"Emergency Guitarist" innovates interactive guitar learning with AR and a virtual instrument! The main guitarist won’t make it to the show, and you must take the stage after a 2-minute crash course. The technology combines AR + SceneKit to place the guitar, Vision to track finger positions, SwiftUI for the interface, and AVFoundation for sound. Shaders ensure fingers appear correctly, and the show’s song was composed in GarageBand.
