In 2022, applicants were tasked with creating a Swift Playgrounds app project on the topic of your choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Nathaniel describes his winning submission.

In this submission, I explored the concept of Wave Diffraction, specifically in the single/double slit experiment. I set up a simulator on a SwiftUI Canvas that demonstrated diffraction patterns. The user was able to create and test a variety of different situations which got saved and processed, and the method in which the data was recorded was also variable to change under a couple of different options. I also made a page exploring the implications of results found in my app.
