In 2025, applicants were tasked with creating an interactive app playground on the topic of their choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Michelle describes her winning submission.
Reflexion is a journaling app designed to make self-reflection more accessible and personalized by offering 7 input methods: text, speech, video, handwriting, drawing, uploads, and mood sliders. With AI-powered mood detection and interactive data visualizations to help users recognize emotional patterns over time, Reflexion aims to overcome barriers to traditional journaling, and engage with self-expression in a way that best suits the user's needs.
