In 2025, applicants were tasked with creating an interactive app playground on the topic of their choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Brenda describes her winning submission.
For my app Cariño, I aimed to bring the heartfelt experience of creating physical greeting cards into this era. I wanted users to feel the same sentiment and creativity that is experienced when crafting a handmade card, enhanced by the capabilities and convenience of an iPad and the apple pencil.
