In 2022, applicants were tasked with creating a Swift Playgrounds app project on the topic of your choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Diego describes his winning submission.
My submission was based on a classic issue that is commonly seen in modern computing, where I explained, in an intuitive and cheerful way, a little bit about the Dining Philosophers problem. In the playground app, you'll meet Roland, a philosopher having trouble with his friends on having dinner. He shows that they have only five forks available for him and four other people to eat, asking for your help to figure out how can all of them eat their spaghetti and not starve.
