Philipp Ollmann25

Linz, Austria

Hi, I’m Philipp from Linz. I study Mobile Computing at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria. I enjoy building meaningful mobile apps and exploring how tech can improve everyday life. Outside of coding, I love making music, running, and playing football. I'm curious, creative, and always eager to learn — especially when it comes to combining technology with human-centered design.

Scholarships

Philipp has been awarded a WWDC scholarship in 2025. Here is the submission that got him there.

In 2025, applicants were tasked with creating an interactive app playground on the topic of their choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Philipp describes his winning submission.

Zynth is a pocket-sized, theremin-inspired synthesizer app that turns motion into sound and visuals. Create hypnotic soundscapes using intuitive gestures — touch, tilt, and movement all shape the audio and visuals in real time. Designed for fun and exploration, Zynth reimagines expressive sound creation for the touch era.
