In 2021, applicants were tasked with building an interactive playground to showcase their creativity and technical abilities. Here’s how Joseph describes his winning submission.

I created a playground called Planetaria Star which teaches users about how stars work in the universe. There is a simulator where you can change attributes of the star, as well as view the H-R diagram. Then, it displays the process of nucleosynthesis, and finally simulates a nebula and supernova.
