In 2025, applicants were tasked with creating an interactive app playground on the topic of their choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Marcos describes his winning submission.

Pedro is an app designed to help parents of autistic children manage their medical routines and track treatment progress. It features a straightforward, user-friendly design that lets parents log key information—like routines, medication responses, and stress triggers—so they can monitor progress and collaborate effectively with doctors to develop personalized therapies and treatments. This project is inspired by my sister and my beloved nephew Pedro, after whom the app is named.
