I’m Praveen Shrivastav, a final year B.Tech student of Galgotias University and iOS developer passionate about building intuitive and high-performance mobile applications. My journey into development started with a fascination for how technology can solve real-world problems, and over time, that passion has grown into a commitment to designing impactful digital experiences.
Praveen has been awarded a WWDC scholarship in 2025. Here is the submission that got him there.
In 2025, applicants were tasked with creating an interactive app playground on the topic of their choice to showcase their passion for coding. Here’s how Praveen describes his winning submission.
MotionEase helps users manage motion sickness through visual stabilization, guided breathing, and acupressure techniques. Using CoreMotion, it tracks device orientation for horizon gazing, with haptic feedback for real-time correction. SwiftUI powers smooth breathing animations, while AVKit delivers interactive acupressure guides. Prioritizing accessibility, it supports Dynamic Type, and offline functionality, ensuring a seamless, private, and effective user experience.
